Sometimes, there are moments in life that can catch you off guard. Like when the car keys that were right in front of you yesterday suddenly disappear, or when you need to urgently take care of something and your phone battery is about to die.
살다 보면 당혹스러운 순간들이 가끔 있다. 어제까지 눈앞에 있던 차 키가 갑자기 안 보일 때, 급하게 처리해야 하는 일이 있는데 휴대폰 배터리가 방전 직전일 때 등이 그런 경우다.

Getting your clothes in a zipper is another exmple. It always seems to happen right when an appointment is coming up. Sometimes, the zipper gets stuck, and you can't move it up or down. You can't take the clothes off or put them on properly, so it's a catch-22 situation. You break into a cold sweat, and you can't even ask someone for help.
지퍼에 옷이 끼인 경험도 마찬가지다. 마침 약속 시간이 다가오면 꼭 이런 일이 생기는 것 같다. 지퍼가 꼼짝도 안 해서 올리지도 내리지도 못하는 경우도 있다. 옷을 벗지도 제대로 입지도 못하는 진퇴양난의 상황이다. 식은땀이 흥건하게 나고, 주변에 도와달라고 부탁할 사람도 없다.

After experiencing this a few times, l've come up with my own tips. First, buy clothes a size bigger if they have a zipper. Second, just leave the zipper open as long as your skin isn't exposed. And third, avoid clothes with zippers altogether.
