어제 들은 "귀트영" 기사가 오늘 뉴스에 나온다면?

<말하기 연습>
I am an avid listener of both "입트영" and "귀트영." After catching the main broadcast, I usually listen to the morning news. Sometimes I notice that the news covers topics that I just heard on "귀트영" that very day or the day before. When I found out that the scripts are written about two months in advance, I started wondering why that happens.
저는 "입트영"과 "귀트영" 애청자입니다. 본방사수 후에는 아침 뉴스를 듣곤 합니다. 그런데 간혹 어제오늘 "귀트영"에서 들은 내용의 뉴스가 나오는 경우가 있습니다. "귀트영" 원고가 2달전쯤 작성된다는 것을 알고 나서 그 원인을 추정해 봤습니다.

The instructors who choose the articles are really good at picking topics. It's almost as if they can see what will be relevant a couple of months later. There have been several times when a breaking news story came out right after a related "귀트영" episode aired.
기사를 선정하시는 선생님들이 주제를 정말 잘 정하십니다. 마치 두어 달 후에 무엇이 적절할지 내다보시는 것 같습니다. "귀트영" 방송 다음 날 관련 뉴스 속보가 나온 적이 여러 번 있었습니다.

For example, we once studied an article about Tesla offering a huge compensation package to Elon Musk. The very next day, there were reports about a trillion-dollar pay package going up for a vote. Another time, right after an episode about a Nissan-Honda merger, there was breaking news the next day saying the deal had been called off. I was amazed. Whatever the case, I really appreciate the effort the instructors put into selecting the topics.
가령 테슬라가 일론 머스크에게 거액의 보상은을 제공한다는 기사를 공부했는데, 바로 다음 날 1조 달러 급여안이 투표에 부쳐진다는 뉴스가 들렸습니다. 또 한 번은 닛산-혼다 합병에 관한 에피소드 직후 그 다음 날 거래가 취소되었다는 속보가 나왔는데, 신기에 가까웠습니다. 진실이야 어떻든, 기사 선정에 고민하시는 두 분 선생님께 감사할 따름입니다.
