Hand-Washing My car.
셀프 세차의 참맛.

<말하기 연습>
I am what you would call a "detailer," someone who is really into washing their car. I first got into washing cars when I bought my very first one. Washing my car lets me clear my head.
나는 세차를 좋아하는 소위 "디테일러"이다. 처음 세차에 관심을 갖기 시작한 것은 첫 차를 샀을 때이다. 세차를 하면 잡생각을 떨쳐낼 수 있기도 하다.

Let me walk you through the basic routine. First, I spray on a pre-wash solution to loosen up the dirt. Some people also use something called snow foam, which make it feel like you're really pampering the car. Next, I rinse it off with a high-pressure water hose and go over the surface with a wash mitt and car shampoo. After that, I rinse off the shampoo again with high-pressure water, and dry it off with microfiber towerls. Finally, I finish things up by spraying on wax and wiping it off again.
간단히 세차 과정을 소개할까 한다. 우선 프리워시 약제를 분무하여 오염물을 불려 준다. 어떤 사람들은 스노우폼이라는 약제를 쓰기도 하는데, 차가 제대로 호강하는 느낌이 들게 만든다. 다음으로 고압수로 헹굼을 하고 카샴푸를 이용한 미트질을 한다. 이어서 다시 고압수로 카샴푸를 씻어 내고 극세사 타월로 물기를 닦아 낸다. 마지막으로 물왁스를 분사하고 다시 닦아 내면서 마무리 한다.

Seeing the car so sparkling clean when I'm done gives me a sense of accomplishment and boosts my mood. I just wonder why it always seems to rain right after I wash it.
끝내고 차가 깨끗하게 반짝이는 모습을 보면 매우 뿌듯하고 기분이 좋아진다. 그런데 왜 내가 세차만 하면 비가 오는지 신기하다.
