<대화>
A: You know, kimchi is a big deal in Korean cuisine. Basically, they salt the cabbage and season it with red pepper powder.
B: No wonder it's got that salty and spicy kick.
A: Eaxctly! And they throw in all sorts of food stuff too salty fish, radish, green onions and other vegetables.
B: Impressive. That's why it's so flavorful.
A: Right. Well, people would gather to make kimchi together, and that practice is called "kimjang."

A: 있지, 김치는 한국 요리에서 아주 중요한 부분이야. 기본적으로 배추를 소금에 절이고 고춧가루로 맛을 내는 거지.
B: 어쩐지 그게 짜고 매운 맛이 있더라.
A: 그렇지! 그리고 거기에 여러 가지 좋은 재료들까지 막 넣는 거야 - 젓갈, 무, 파 그리고 다른 야채들 말이지.
B: 대단하다. 그래서 그렇게 맛이 풍부한 거구나.
A: 맞아. 사람들이 다 같이 모여서 김치를 만들곤 했는데, 그렇게 하는 걸 "김장"이라고 해.

Many of us were blown away when we witnessed an AI called "AlphaGo" defeat humans in the game of Go back in 2016. AI has continued to make strides since then, and we now live in an era where we can engage in conversation with AI chatbots in real time.
우리는 2016년 "알파고"라는 AI가 바둑 경기에서 인간에게 승리하는 모습을 보며 크게 놀랐다. 그 이후로 AI는 계속 발전을 거듭하며, 이제 우리는 AI 챗봇과 실시간 대화가 가능한 시대에 살고 있다.

These chatbots can also be used to draw up documents like academic papers. This has led to some counties introducing rules that prohibit the use of AI in research papers. Technology, even when developed with good intentions, can be distorted this way. I believe that user awareness is every bit as imoprtant as technological advancement.
이 챗봇은 논문과 같은 문서 작성에도 활용이 가능하다. 이로 인해 일부 국가에서는 논문에 AI의 사용을 금지하는 규칙도 도입했다고 한다. 좋은 목적으로 만들어진 기술이 이렇게 변질되 수 도 있는 것 같다. 기술의 진보만큼 사용자의 인식이 중요하다고 느낀다.

In the next 10 years, we might encounter an AI like "Javis" from the movie "Iron Man." To keep in step with such technological progress, we must establish norms accordingly. I believe this essential for the future of our children.
향후 10년 안에 우리는 영화 "아이언맨"에 나오는 "자비스" 같은 인공 지능을 만나게 될지도 모른다. 이러한 기술 발전에 발맞춰, 우리는 그에 맞는 제도와 규범을 수립해야 한다. 우리 아이들이 만나게 될 미래를 위해서 이는 꼭 필요하다고 생각한다.
