<말하기 연습>
I recently filed a lawsuit by myself against someone who had gone back on a promise. It was a compensation claim. After 5 months, I finally won the case. The lawsuit was by no means a pleasant experience, but I was able to handle the entire process without a lawyer because the evidence was clear.
저는 최근에 약속을 이행하지 않은 분을 상대로 법원에 직접 민사 소송을 제기하였습니다. 손해 배상 청구 건이었습니다. 그리고 마침내 5개월 만에 최종 승소하였습니다. 소송은 결코 유쾌한 일이 아니었지만, 증거 관계가 명확하였기 때문에 변호사 없이 모든 과정을 혼자서 처리할 수 있었습니다.

While learning about the procedures of the lawsuit, I came across the website for electronic litigation in Korean courts. I personally prepared and submitted the paperwork online, and the court delivered the complaint to the defendant. Many documents went back and forth, but I was able to handle and review everything without having to go to the court.
소송의 절차에 대해 알아보다가 대한민국 법원 전자 소송 사이트를 알게 되었습니다. 저는 소장을 직접 작성하여 온라인으로 제출하였고, 법원은 피고에게 소장을 송달하였습니다. 많은 서류들이 오고 갔지만, 법원에 가지 않고도 모든 것을 처리하고 확인할 수 있었습니다.

My reading experience really came in handy during the process of writing the complaint and preparing counterarguments against the defendant's responses. It was a time-consuming process that sometimes felt very difficult. But as the saying goes, "there are no useless experiences." It ended up teaching me valuable life lessons.
소장을 작성하고 피고측의 답변서에 대한 반박문을 준비할 때는 그간의 독서 경험이 큰 도움이 되었습니다. 때로는 힘든 순간도 있었고 시간이 많이 드는 과정이었습니다. 하지만 "세상에 쓸모 없는 경험은 없다."는 옛말처럼 귀중한 인생 공부가 되었습니다.
