The Age of Subscriptions. 정기 구독의 시대.

<말하기 연습>
When we thought about subscriptions in the past, it mainly brought to mind magazines or newspapers. But nowadays, subscriptions come in various forms and are integrated into our daily lives.
예전에는 정기 구독이라면 잡지나 신문 정도를 주로 생각했다. 하지만 요즘 정기 구독은 우리 생활속에 다양한 형태로 들어와 있다.

In my case, I have an annual subscription to EBS audio on demand and for the "입트영" study material. It's been three years now, and I feel like I'm attending a top-tier language institute for a bargain. Next, I have subscriptions to Netflix, premium TV and movie services, and audiobook services. I also have subscriptions for a water purifier, bidet, internet service, and car maintenance. I also pay a monthly fee for unlimited date on my smartphone.
내 경우에는 EBS 다시 듣기와 "입트영" 교재를 연간 구독하고 있다. 이제 3년째 구독하고 있는데 아주 적은 비용으로 고급 어학원을 다니는 것 같다. 그 다음으로 넷플릭스, TV/영화 프리미엄 서비스, 오디오북 서비스 등을 구독하고 있다. 그 밖에도 정수기, 비데, 인터넷 서비스, 자동차 점검 서비스 등이 있다. 그리고 스마트폰 무제한 데이터를 이용하기 위해 월 이용료를 지불하고 있다.

Subscriptions have become an itergral part of modern life. When I think about the subscription fees, it motivates me to make the most of these services, as efficiently and economically as possible.
구독은 이미 현대인의 생활 속에 깊이 들어와 았는 삶의 일부이다. 구독료를 생각하면 이러한 서비스들을 최대한 알뜰하게 잘 사용하고 싶은 욕심이 든다.
