B: 그렇게 많은 사람들이 모여서 함께 축하하는 모습은 정말 멋지겠다.

쓰레기 제로 운동에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

I recently read a story book called "The Zero Waste Chanllenge to Save the Earth" with my kids. Reading the book made me feel ashamed of myself for using disposable items without much thought.
최근에 아이들과 함께 "지구를 구하는 쓰레기 제로 대작전"이라는 동화책을 읽었습니다. 그 책을 읽고 나서 저는 일회용품을 아무렇지 않게 쓰고 있는 제 자신을 반성하게 되었습니다.

If you want to practice "Zero Waste," you should first try to minimize the use of disposable items. Rather than using plastic bags, plastic, tissues and wet wipes, and disposable cups, you can instead opt for cloth bags, handderchiefs, and portable water bottles. I also refuse to buy products with excessive pakaging and reject souvenirs that I don't think I'll use. I also choose not to receive paper receipts.
"쓰레기 제로"를 실천하고 싶다면, 먼저 일회용품을 최대한 사용하지 않아야 합니다. 비닐봉지, 플라스틱, 휴지와 물티슈, 일회용 컵을 사용하지 않고 그 대신 천 가방, 손수건, 휴대용 물병을 쓸 수 있습니다. 또한 포장이 과한 물건은 사지 않고, 쓰지 않을 것 같은 기념품은 거절합니다. 종이 영수증도 굳이 받지 않습니다.

The goal of "Zero Waste" is to keep the Earth clean and look after it. Everyone must do their part to bring about change for our future. Starting today, I want to be even better about practicing these habits to show my love for the Earth.
"쓰레기 제로"의 목표는 지구를 깨끗하게 가꾸고 보살피는 것입니다. 모든 사람이 동참해야 우리의 미래에 변화를 가져올 수 있습니다. 오늘부터 저는 지구 사람을 보여 주기 위해 이 습관을 더 잘 실천하고자 합니다.

B: 저도 그래요.
A: 이 쓰레기가 모두 어디로 가는지 걱정이 돼요.
B: 쓰레기를 최대한 줄이고 재활용을 더 효과적으로 해야겠다는 생각이 들어요.
A: 맞아요.
B: 그리고 일회용품 사용을 최소화하는 방법을 찾는 것이 급선무 인것 같아요.
