할머니에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

My grandmother, who always had my back, passed away a month ago. She lived with me for 32 years until I got married and moved out.
한 달 전에 언제나 나의 편이었던 할머니가 돌아가셨습니다. 우리 할머니는 제가 결혼해서 출가하기 전까지 32년 동안 저와 같이 살았습니다.

My grandmother doted on me the most among her granchildren, as I was the eldest son. Even when I was a teenager and gave her a hard time, she always treated me with a smile. As I got older, I thought I shoud spend more time with her, but that was made impossible during the COVID crisis.
할머니는 장남인 저를 손주 중에 가장 사랑해 주셨습니다. 사춘기 시절에 할머니에게 짜증을 내도 할머니는 늘 웃으며 맞이해 주셨습니다. 나이가 들면서 할머니와 더 많은 시간을 보내야 겠다고 생각했지만, 코로나 기간에는 그럴 수가 없었습니다.

I was afraid to tell her that I loved her because I was afraid she would leave me. I only told her once, and two weeks later, she passed away suddenly on the day we were supposed to meet. I wish I had told her how much I loved her more often. I should it dozens of times at her grave, but I am still filled with regret.
저는 할머니가 제 곁을 떠날까 봐 할머니를 사랑한다고 말하기 두려웠습니다. 딱 한 번 사랑한다고 이야기했는데, 2주 뒤에 우리가 만나기로 한 날 갑자기 돌아가셨습니다. 이럴 줄 알았으면 할머니한테 내가 얼마나 사랑하는지 더 많이 말할 걸 그랬습니다. 산소에 가서 수십 번 외쳤지만, 여전히 너무 후회됩니다.
