웨딩 싱어에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

When I was in my twenties, I was often hired to sing at weddings. I loved singing and had a talent for it, so I started as a wedding singer at my friends' and acquaintances' weddings. Eventually, I expanded my reach to friends of friends and acquaintances of acquaintances.
나는 20대 때 결혼식에서 축가를 많이 불렀다. 노래를 좋아하고 잘했던 나는 처음에는 친구들이나 지인들의 결혼식에서 웨딩 싱어를 시작했다. 그러다가 점점 친구의 친구로, 지인의 지인으로 확대 되었다.

Being a wedding singer came with a lot of perks. First, I got to meet the happiest people in the world every week, the groom, the bride, and their families. In thouse moments, I felt like I was sharing their joy. Second, I got to eat delicious food every weekend, free of charge. And third was the extra income that came with the job. As my workload increased, so did my side income.
웨딩 싱어를 하면서 많은 장점이 있었다. 첫번째는 매우 이 세상에서 가장 행복한 사람들인 신랑, 신부와 그 가족들을 만나게 된다는 점이었다. 그 순간만큼은 나도 그들의 기쁨을 함께 나누는 듯한 느낌을 받았다. 두번째는 주말마다 맛있는 음식을 공짜로 먹을 수 있다는 점이었다. 일이 많아질수록 나의 부수입도 늘어갔다.

After getting married and having children, I stopped working as a wedding singer. I am in my late forties now, so there are no more people close to me who are tying the knot. But I miss those days 20 years ago, when I could feel the happiness in people's smiles, all while earning some extra cash.
결혼을 하고 아이를 갖고 나서는 웨딩 싱어 일을 그만두었다. 지금은 40대 후반에 접어들어, 더 이상 결혼을 하는 사람들이 주위에 없기도 하다. 그런데 20년 전 돈도 추가로 벌고 사람들의 미소 속에서 행복도 느낄 수 있었던 그 시절이 그립다.
