실패에 대처하는 우리의 자세에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

People are placed at a crossroads on many occasions in life, but not every choice can lead to success. Therefore, "failure" is a situation that we inevitably experience as we live our lives.
사람들은 살면서 수많은 선택의 기로에 놓이게 되는데, 모든 선택이 성공으로 귀결될 수는 없다. 따라서 "실패"는 우리가 살아가면서 어쩔 수 없이 경험하게 되는 상황이다.

However, with rapid social changes and developments, our society is becoming less forgiving of failure. Everone is living their lives with a focus on suceess, but failure is bound to happen in the process. We need to reflect on our attitude towards failure in this process. Many global companies actually encourage failure. They frown upon a fear of failure that could prevent people from giving it a shot.
하지만 급격한 사회 변화와 발전으로, 우리 사회는 실패에 너그럽지 못한 사회가 되어 가고 있다. 모두가 성공을 외치며 살아가고 있지만, 반드시 그 과정에서 실패가 나오기 마련이다. 우리는 이 과정에서 실패를 대하는 우리의 자세를 되짚어 볼 필요가 있다. 수많은 글로벌 기업들은 오히려 실패를 장려한다. 실패를 두려워해서 사람들이 시도조차 하지 않는 것을 더욱 금기시 한다.

I always advise my grade school daughter that "Anyone can fail, but what's important is to learn from failure. Don't be too sad about failure. Instead, think about what to do next."
나는 초등학생인 내 딸에게도 "실패는 누구나 할 수 있지만, 실패로부터 배우는 것이 중요하다. 실패에 너무 슬퍼하지 말고, 다음에 어떻게 할지를 생각해라."라고 항상 조언한다.
