RE100 캠페인.

RE100 stands for Renewable Electricity 100. It is a campaign aimed at supplying 100% of the electricity used by companies through renewable energy by 2050.
RE100이란 Renewable Electrictiy 100의 약자로, 2050년까지 기업에서 사용하는 전력의 100퍼센트를 재생 에너지로 충당하는 것을 목표로 한 캠페인입니다.

Over 300 companies worldwide, including Apple, Google, GM, and Intel, have joined the movement. RE100 recognizes various renewable energy source, such as solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, and biomass. Joining RE100 goes beyond just a simple declaration. A company's survival depends on it.
애플, 구글, 인텔 등 전 세계 300개가 넘는 기업들이 동참했습니다. RE100에서 인정하는 여러 재생 에너지는 태양 에너지, 풍력, 수력, 지열, 바이오매스 등이 있습니다. RE100 가입은 단순한 선언을 넘어, 기업의 생존이 걸린 문제입니다.

Companies could decide whether to enage in business with another based on their renewable energy conversion performance. It could also be a deciding factor for investors. According to the RE100 implementation rate scorecard by country, South Korea recorded only 3%.
재생 에너지 전환 성적표에 따라 기업들은 다른 기업과 거래를 할지 말지 결정할 수도 있습니다. 또한 투자자들에게도 결정 요인이 될 수 있습니다. 국가별 RE100 이행률 성적표에 따르면 대한민국은 3퍼센트에 불과했습니다.
