인라인하키.
When someone mentions hockey, it probably brings to mind ice hockey or field hockey. But there is also a sport called "inline hockey." As the name suggests, it's a sport in which you play hockey while wearing inline skates.
하키라고 하면 아마도 아이스하키나 필드하키를 떠올리실 겁니다. 하지만 "인라인하키"라는 스포츠 종목도 있습니다. 이름 그대로, 인라인스케이트를 착용하고 하키 경기를 하는 스포츠입니다.
Inline hockey spread from North America and Northern Europe, where ice hockey enjoys huge popularity. It developed as a way for ice hockey players to get in their training during their off time between seasons. It really picked up speed in 1992, when an ice hockey rink in Florida was razed to the ground by a hurricane, and the ice hockey players moved on to inline hockey in large numbers.
인라인하키는 아이스하키의 인기가 매우 높은 북미와 북유럽에서 파생되었습니다. 그것은 아이스하키 선수들의 비시즌 훈련 방법으로 발전했습니다. 그러다 1992년 플로리다 주에 있는 아이스하키장이 허리케인에 의해 파괴되자, 아이스하키 선수들이 인라인하커로 대거 전향하면서 크게 활성화되었습니다.
It made its way into Korea in the mid-1990s, and there has been an explosive growth of participating teams since 2000. But many people still don't know the first thing about inline hockey. I hope there will be grater interest in this sport!
