Thanks to the remarkable performance of Korean soccer like Park Ji-sung in the past and Son heung-min these days, more and more Koreans are taking an interest foreign soccer leagues.

Park Ji-sung played for Manchester United, a major football club. He was the first Korean player in the English Premier Leagues(EPL), acting as a pioneer. The team he played for lifted trophies in European leagues on multiple occasions. Park was also the captain of Korea’s national team in the World Cup.

Son heung-min is active in the English club Tottenham Hotspur. In addition to his talent on the pitch, Son has an outgoing personality and great manners. He is immensely popular among local fans. These days, many Korean fans get up at the crack of dawn to watch his matches.
