Another Family Trip.
또 하나의 가족 여행.

<말하기 연습>
Once a year, I go on a family trip with my parents and younger brother. But this year, we traveled with my wife's parents instead of mine. My father-in-law and mother-in-law had been running a restaurant for about 20 years and recently decided to close it. We planned the trip to celebrate that milestone.
저는 1년에한 번씩 부모님을 모시고 남동생과 함께 가족 여행을 다니고 있습니다. 하지만 올해는 저희 부모님이 아닌 아나의 부모님을 모시고 여행을 다녀왔습니다. 저의 장인 어른과 장모님께서는 약 20년간 식당을 운영하시다가 최근에 그만하기로 하셨습니다. 이를 기념하고자 여행을 계획했습니다.

Up until the moment we left, things felt a bit awkward. But as time went on, they started to warm up to the trip. We went to Gangwon Province in the dead of winter, but we had such a good time that we lost track of time. At every meal, my in-laws told me how thankful they were for giving them that kind of opportunity. Seeing that made me feel grateful and fulfilled as well.
출발할 때까지만 해도 약간의 어색함이 있었습니다. 그렇지만 시간이 지날수록 어르신들께서 여행을 즐기기 시작하셨습니다. 추운 겨울에 강원도로 떠난 여행이었지만 시간이 가는 줄도 모르게여행을 즐겼습니다.
식사를 하실 때마다 장인, 장모님께서는 저에게 이런 기회를 만들어 주어서 고맙다고 말씀하셨습니다. 그 모습을 보며 저도 너무나 감사했고 보람찼습니다.
