10 Years at Work, and Resignation.
10년 동안의 직장 그리고 퇴사.

<말하기 연습>
This year marks my tenth year as an office worker. When I first joined the company, I used to say I'd quit after just one year. So, it's hard to believe I've stayed with the same company this long. Most of the people I started with have already left the company, and now there's no one from my original group.
올해로 어느덧 10년 차 직장인이 되었다. 입사 초기만 해도 딱 1년만 버티다 퇴사하겠다던 내가 한 회사에서 이렇게 군건히 버틴 것이 믿기지 않는다. 입사 동기들 대부분은 벌써 회사를 떠나고 지금은 남은 동기가 아무도 없다.

Watching my coworkers leave one after another made me waver too. But I have received recognition for my skills at work, and I've gained confidence. Still, there is a long standing item on my bucket list - living abroad. That's why I've been practicing speaking with "입트영" and other content to improve my English.
동기들의 퇴사 러시를 지켜보며 내 마음도 흔들렸다. 하지만 회사에서 능력도 인정받고 이제 자신감도 붙었다. 하지만 내 가슴속에는 오랜 버킷 리스트가 숨 쉬고 있었다. 바로 해외에서 살아 보기이다. 그래서 <입트영>과 다른 콘텐츠들로 스피킹 연습을 하며 영어 실력을 갈고 닦아 왔다.

To pursue my dream, I've decided to resign this summer when I reach my ten-year mark. Then, Ill head to Australia. Sometimes I wonder if it's the right choice. But I've made up my mind that it's better to try and regret it than the other way around.
나는 내 꿈을 이루기 위해 만 10년 차가 되는 올 여름에 퇴사하기로 마음먹었다. 그리고 호주로 떠날 것이다. 가끔 이 선택이 맞나 싶은 생각이 들기도 한다. 하지만 안 하고 후회하느니 해 보고 후회하는 게 낫다는 생각에 결단을 내렸다.
