감동의 졸업 사진.

<말하기 연습>
I have a playful three-year-old son. Last week, while he was playing around with his dad, he took a hard fall and hit his face. As time passed, both of his eyes became badly bruised, like a raccoon's.
저에게는 장난기 가득한 세 살짜리 아들이 있습니다. 지난 주에 아이가 아빠와 놀다가 쿵 하고 넘어지며 얼굴을 세게 부딪히고 말았습니다. 시간이 지날수록 너구리처럼 양쪽 눈 주변이 새까맣게 멍이 들었습니다.

Unfortunately, his daycare had scheduled their graduation photo shoot right around that time. I thought he would have to take his very first graduation photo with a badly bruised face. As a mom, it was really upsetting and discouraging.
하필이면 딱 이 시점에 아이 어린이집에서 졸업 사진 촬영이 예정되어 있었습니다. 인생의 첫 졸업 사진을 심하게 멍든 얼굴로 찍어야만 한다고 생각했습니다. 엄마로서 여간 속상하고 실망스러운 게 아니었습니다.

But I was deeply moved when I received his graduation photo today. His teacher had carefully Photoshopped the photo and removed all the bruises. Thans to the teacher's thoughtfulness and understanding, my son and I were able to spend a happy weekend filled with warmth.
그런데 오늘 아이의 졸업 사진을 받아 보고 저는 벅찬 감동을 받았습니다. 선생님께서 아이 사진을 포토샵으로 하나하나 정성스럽게 수정해서 멍을 다 지워 주셨던 것입니다. 선생팀의 세심한 배려 덕분에 아이와 저는 참으로 따뜻하고 행복한 주말을 보낼 수 있었습니다.

Thankfully, the pimple didn't show up in the photo.
