Taekwondo Performance in the US.
미국에서의 태권도 공연.

<말하기 연습>
My two daughters, one in sixth grade and the other in third grade, are both Taekwondo girls. My older daughter first got into Taekwondo during the pandemic in 2020. She went to the studio every single day back then, always wearing a mask. Before we knew it, she had become a certified third-degree trainee and a member of a demonstration team.
초등학교 6학년과 3학년인 저회 두 딸은 태권도 소녀입니다. 큰아이는 2020년 코로나 시기에 태권도를 시작했습니다. 당시에 늘 마스크를 쓰고 하루도 빠짐없이 도장에 갔습니다. 그러더니 어느새 공인 3품의 시범 단원이 되었습니다.

After gaining experience through various competitions, she'll be leaving in a month for a three-week trip to perform at an NBA halftime show in the U.S. I'm proud that she will be standing on a stage that showcases Korean Taekwondo to the world.
각종 대회에 출전하며 실력을 쌓던 아이가 한 달 뒤에 미국 NBA 경기 하프타임 공연을 위해 3주간 여행을 떠납니다. 한국의 태권도를 전 세계에 알리는 무대에 선다니 너무나 자랑스럽습니다.

She has a packed schedule, including homestays, classes at a local school, and even a field trip to the Grand Canyon. She's full of excitement, but we parents can't help but worry. Still, I'm praying that all forty members of the team come back safe and sound. I am so proud of my daughter for working hard, at both school and Taekwondo.
홈스테이와 현지 학교 수업, 그랜드 캐니언 현장 학습 등 일정도 아주 알찹니다. 기대와 설렘이 가득한 아이와 달리 부모 마음은 걱정이 앞섭니다. 그래도 40명의 원정대원 모두 건강히 잘 다녀오길 기도하고 있습니다. 공부도 운동도 열심히 하는 딸이 참 대견스럽습니다.
