<말하기 연습>
When my oldest child was going through college entrance exams last year, those few months took a real toll, both physically and emotionally. As a working mom, I often felt I wasn't doing enough for her. But my daughter took charge of her studies and prepared for her college admissions.
작년에 첫째 아이의 입시를 치르면서 몇 달간 몸도 마음도 많이 아팠습니다. 워킹맘으로서 아이에게 부족함이 많았습니다. 그러나 아이는 자기 할 일을 스스로 챙기면서 입시 준비를 하였습니다.

However, her exam scores were lower than we had hoped. Every time we saw the word "rejected" instead of "accepted," it felt like walking through an endless tunnel. When she told me she was studying alone at the library, preparing to try again, my heart broke for her.
그러나 수능 성적은 기대보다 낮게 나왔습니다. '합격'의 반대 글자를 마주할 때마다 끝이 없는 터널을 걷는 기분이었습니다. 딸이 혼자 도서관에서 공부하며 재수를 준비하고 있다고 했을 때는 제 마음이 미어지기도 했습니다.

Now, she's taking another year for test prep. She goes to the library every single day of the week, continuing to chase her dreams. And as her mom, I'm doing my best to stay strong and healthy so I can walk beside her on this journey.
그렇게 제 아이는 재도전을 위해 재수를 하고 있습니다. 일주일간 하루도 빠짐없이 독서실을 오 가며 계속 꿈을 키워 나가고 있습니다. 저 또한 수험생 엄마로서 이 여정을 함께 걸어갈 수 있도록 최선을 다해 몸과 마음을 관리하고 있습니다.
