<말하기 연습>
In March 2022, as the spring season was just getting started, I began reciting the passages from "입트영." At the time, I was a bit shaky even when reciting in Korean, so doing it in English seemed like a distant goal. Even so, I had taken the first step, so I tried hard to always catch the original broadcast, study it, and make my own recitations by listening to the recordings of native speakers.
2022년 3울, 봄이 시작하는 계절과 함께 저는 "입트영" 본문 낭독을 시작했습니다. 당시에 한글 낭독도 어설픈 저에게 영어 낭독은 정말 먼 이야기 같았습니다. 그래도 시작은 했으니 본방을 꼭 사수하고, 공부한 후에, 원어민 음원을 들어가며 나만의 낭독을 만들기 위해 노력했습니다.

I listened over and over again, but I couldn't replicate the natural pronunciation of native speakers. It was so frustrating that it brought me to tears. The pronunciation of every word felt unfamiliar, so I started all over again by studying vowels and consonants.
듣고 또 들어도 원어민들의 자연스러운 발음을 따라 할 수 없으니, 너무 속상해서 눈물도 났습니다. 모든 단어의 발음이 낯설게 느껴져서 모음과 자음 발음을 공부하며 처음부터 다시 시작했습니다.

I turned the results of my efforts into daily Istagram videos of my recitations. I was a complete noob, but fellow learners have cheered me on by leaving comments or tapping the heart to "like" my videos. Conversely, seeking out my fellow learners' recitation videos and tapping the heart is a source of great joy in my life.
그런 노력의 산물들을 매일 인스타그램에 낭독 영상으로 만들어서 올렸습니다. 그러면 왕초보인 저에게 낭독 동지분들이 댓글을 남기고 영상에 "좋아요" 하트를 누르며 응원을 해 줍니다. 반대로, 동지들의 낭독 영상을 찾아다니며 하트로 공감하는 일은 제 삶의 큰 즐거움입니다.
