I have a keen interest in cars. On weekends, I often go for test drives or visit car showrooms to see different models. By chance, I applied for position at a company that deals with cars and unexpectedly got accepted. They didn't recognize my previous work experience because it was a new field for me, but I didn't want to give up.
나는 자동차에 관심이 많다. 주말에는 시승을 하러 다니거나 자동차 전시장에 가서 여러 차종을 구경하곤 한다. 그러다 우연히 자동차와 관련한 회사에서 직원을 모집하여 지원했는데 덜컥 합격을 하였다. 나에게는 새로운 분야라서 인정받지는 못했지만, 포기하고 싶지 않았다.

My decision led to changes in our family's morning routine, and I had to adapt to being working mom. The company has an early start time, so while I prepare for work, my husband takes care of the kids' breakfast. My son listens to EBS radio and learns English with the teachers before heading to school.
나의 결정으로 우리 가족의 모닝 루틴이 바뀌었고, 나 또한 워킹맘 생활에 적응해야만 했다. 출근 시간이 빠른 회사라 내가 출근 준비를 하는 동안 남편은 아이들 아침 식사를 챙겨 준다. 아들은 등원 전까지 EBS 라디오를 청취하며 선생님들과 함께 영어 공부를 한다.

I leave the office right on time to pick up my son from kindergarten. I sometimes feel bad that he's there all on his own. He's still adjusting to changes in our daily life. A few days ago, he even said that he hopes I will earn a lot of money and make us rich.
