병아리에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

My son brought three eggs from a chicken coop in the countryside during the recent holiday. We put them in an incubator and waited for three weeks until we heard a faint chirping sound from the eggs. 24 hours later, the chicks broke out of their shells all on their own.
아들이 이번 명절 때 시골에 있는 닭장에서 달걀 3개를 가져왔다. 부화기에 넣고 3주를 기다렸더니 달걀에서 아주 희미한 울음소리가 들렸다. 그로부터 24시간 후에 병아리가 스스로 알을 깨고 나왔다.

For the first two weeks after they were born, it was challenging to maintain a temperature of 37 degrees and keep the brooder clean. However, the sight of the little chicks chirping and playing was so adorable that we quickly forgot all about the hardship. After a month, the chicks shed their down feathers, and they started to look like adult chickens.
태어난 후 처음 2주 동안은 37도로 온도를 맞춰 주고 육추기를 청결하게 유지하느라 힘들었다. 하지만 작은 병아리들이 삐약거리며 노는 모습이 너무 귀여워서 우리는 힘든 고충을 금방 잊었다. 한 달이 지나자 병아리들은 솜털이 다 빠지고, 어른 닭의 모습이 보이기 시작했다.

Contrary to common belief, the chicks were smart. They were highly social and would loudly cry out and try to help their friends when they appeared to be in danger. They even dozed off adorably when we held them close. When they saw themselves in the mirror, they would be surprised or even peck at their reflection, just like puppies.
속설과 다르게 병아리들은 똑똑했다. 사회성이 높고 친구가 위험에 처했다고 생각이 되면 큰 소리로 울며 친구를 도와주려 했다. 푸메 안아주면 귀엽게 졸기도 했다. 거울에 비친 자신의 모습을 보면, 깜짝 놀라거나 쪼기도 하는 모습이 마치 강아지 같았다.

B: 지금도 너무 보고 싶어요. 보고만 있어도 정말 기분이 좋아졌거든요.
