While weighing my options for summer vacation, I came across an article about Switzerland. It looked so great that our family set off for Switzerland without any hesitation for our summer vacation.
여름 휴가를 어디로 가야하나 고민하던 중 우연히 스위스에 대한 기사를 접했다. 너무 좋아 보여서 우리 가족은 한치의 망설임도 없이 스위스로 여름 휴가를 떠났다.

One of the most memorable moments during the trip was the time we spent at the beautiful Lake Brienz. The scenery was so stunning that it felt like paradise on Earth. We enjoyed something called a "Hot Tug" on the lake. You can think of it as a hot spring bath on a boat, where you heat the water by putting logs directly in front of the boat.
여행 중에 가장 기억에 남는 순간 하나를 꼽는다면 아름다운 브리엔츠 호수에서 보낸 시간이었다. 풍경이 너무 예뻐서 지상 낙원이 따로 없었다. 우리는 그 호수에서 "핫터그"라고 하는 것을 즐기기도 했다. 핫터그는 보트 위에서 따뜻한 온천욕을 하는 것이라고 생각하면 되는데, 보트 앞부분에 직접 땔감을 넣어 물을 데우는 방식이다.

Even though it was summer, the lake water was ice cold. However, we were able to swim because we could melt away the cold on the boat. It was great to see how happy the kids were, swimming in the lake and enjoying themselves. The trip cost quite a bit, but I felt that it was worth every penny.
여름이었는데도, 호수의 물은 굉장히 차가웠다. 하지만 보트에서 따뜻한 물로 몸을 녹일 수 있어서 우리는 수영을 할 수 있었다. 아이들이 호수에서 수영하며 너무나도 행복하게 즐기는 모습을 보니 참 좋았다. 여행비용이 비싸긴 했지만 그만한 가치가 충분히 있다는 생각이 들었다.
