Why I Enjoy Swimming.
수영이 좋은 이유.

I am a 4th grade student. I started taking swimming lessons in the 1st grade, but I couldn't go to the pool for a while because of COVID-19. These days, I take lessons every Wednesday and Friday at 5 p.m.
나는 초등학교 4학년이다. 1학년 때부터 수영 레슨을 받기 시작했는데, 코로나19 때문에 한동안 수영장에 갈 수 없었다. 요즘은 매주 수요일과 금요일 오후 5시에 레슨을 받는다.

My gave me a ride to the pool at first, but now I take the bus all on my own. There are many days when going to the pool feels like a chore. But I'm still taking lessons because I might come to regret it if I stop now.
처음에는 엄마가 수영장까지 데려다줬는데, 지금은 혼자 버스를 타고 간다. 수영장에 가기 귀찮은 날이 꽤 많지만, 지금 그만두면 아쉬움이 많이 남을까 봐 아직까지 다니고 있다.

Until recently, I didn't think much of being late for lessons. But now, I get all worked up if I'm even a little bit late. Swimming lessons begin with kicking. Then, you gradually move on to the freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly techniques.
얼마 전까지만 해도 수업에 늦어도 크게 신경을 안 섰는데, 요즘은 조금이라도 늦으면 불안하고 걱정이 된다. 수영은 발차기부터 시작해서 점차 자유형, 배영, 평영, 그리고 접영 순서로 넘어간다.

I'm learning the butterfly stroke now, but I think it's easiest to breathe while doing the breaststroke. Swimming develops muscles in the legs, and it makes you stronger. I also hope I'll grow taller soon.
나는 지금 접영을 배우고 있는데, 평영을 하는 동안 숨쉬기가 가장 편한 것 같다. 수영을 하면 다리에 근육이 생기고 더 튼튼해진다. 키도 빨리 더 컸으면 좋겠다.
