Various outdoor activities became popular during the 3 years of the COVID-19 pandemic. Among them, tennis is steadily rising in popularity. You can especially feel its popularity among younger generations in their 20s and 30s.
3년간 코로나 19 팬더믹을 거치면서 다양한 야외 활동이 인기를 끌게 되었다. 그중에서 테니스의 인기가 꾸준히 높아지고 있다. 특히 20대와 30대 젊은 층 사이에서 인기를 실감할 수 있다.

The tennis gear that they use mostly comes in all different colors. This means there are plenty of photo opportunities for young users to post on Instagram. I think it's great that this has expanded the base of tennis players. There is a prejudice that olny people with lots of experience can play tennis.
이들이 착용하는 테니스 용품들은 대체로 형형색색이어서, 젊은 세대들은 인스타그램에 업로드할 멋진 사진을 찍을 기회가 많다. 이 덕분에 테니스 선수의 저변이 확대가 되는 것은 반가운 일이라고 생각한다. 한편, 테니스는 구력이 긴 사람만 칠 수 있다는 편견이 있다.

But these days, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor courts where first timers can easily join in. They are good news for people just getting into the sports. If you can't find a court or coach for lessons, you can always watch tutorial video posted on YouTube by former players.
그러나 최근에는 초보자들도 쉽게 접근이 가능한 실내 및 실외 코트들이 많아서, 테니스에 처음 입문하는 사람들에게는 반가운 소식이다. 만약 레슨을 받을 코트나 코치를 구하지 못한다면, 전직 선수들이 유튜브에 올린 지도 영상을 언제든지 참고하면 된다.
