Nostalgic Comic Books.
추억의 만화책.
Almost everyone has a TV show, movie, or game that they were really into when they were young. For me, it was comic books. Sometimes I would borrow them. Others times, I bought them to add to my collection. At my peak, I had about 2,000 comic books.
누구나 어린 시절에 푹 빠졌던 드라마, 영화, 게임이 하나쯤은 있을 것이다. 나의 경우는 만화책이었다. 어떤 때는 만화책을 빌려 보기도 했고, 또 어떤 때는 소장용으로 구입하기도 했다. 가장 많을 때는 2천 권 정도의 만화책을 소장했었다.
There were too many to hold on to as I kept moving, so I got red of them by reselling them or giving them away. Now, I have a paintstakingly curated collection of about 300 classics.
계속 이사를 다니다 보니 만화책이 너무 많아서, 되팔거나 나눠 주는 식으로 만화책을 처분했다. 지금은 엄선된 명작 300권 정도를 가지고 있다.
If I had to pick my all-time favorite, it would have to be "Dragon ball." I still read it from cover to cover at least once a year. The engrossing story, the dynamic action scenes, the charming characters, and the creative worldbuilding are all top of the line. The sense of fun it can create because it is a comic is what makes it such a quintessential example of the comic book format.
내 인생 최고의 명작을 딱 하나 꼽으라면 단연 "드래곤 볼"이다. 아직까지 적어도 일 년에 한번은 정주행을 한다. 흡입력 있는 스토리, 역동성 넘치는 액션 신, 매력적인 캐릭터들, 기상천외한 세계관 모두 최고이다. 만화이기 때문에 뽑아낼 수 있는 드래곤볼의 재미는 가희 만화의 정수라 할 만하다.
