Enjoying Alone Time at a Cafe.
카페에서 누리는 나만의 시간.
Every morning for the past 15 years, I have stopped by at a coffee shop near my office on my way to work. It mostly coincides with the time I have spent listening to "입트영."
지난 15년간 나는 매일 아침 출근길에 직장 근처에 있는 커피 전문점을 방문했다. 거의 "입트영"을 들어 온 기긴과 맞아 떨이지는 것 같다.
As a rough estimate, I must have had at least 5,000 cups of joe this way. I spent this me-time at the cafe writing diary entries or drawing up plans for work. Once you get addicted to relaxing in a wide, uncrowded space, there is no going back.
이렇게 마신 커피 잔 수가 어림잡아 5,000잔은 넘었을 것이다. 카페에서 나만의 시간을 누리면서 일기를 쓰거나 업무 계획을 세웠다. 아무도 없는 공간에서 즐기는 여유로움에 중독되면 빠져나오기가 쉽지 않다.
Early this year, I started to wonder how long I will be able to enjoy this sense of leisure. As I get older, there are more limitations like my health and less disposable income. But despite these vague concerns, I find myself at the cafe again today, reciting "입트영" and enjoying this time to myself.
올해 초, 이와 같은 여유를 언제까지 즐길 수 있을까 하는 생각이 들기 시작했다. 나이가 들어가다 보니 건강, 줄어든 수입 등 제약 요건이 더 많아지기 때문이다. 하지만 이러한 막연한 불안에도 불구하고, 오늘도 나는 또 카페에서 "입트영"을 낭독하며 나만의 시간을 즐기고 있다.
