Libraries these days offer a variety of high-quality programs for people of all ages. There are book start programs for the little ones, knitting classes for moms, and social media classes for senior citizens.
요즘 도서관은 다양한 연령대의 사람들에게 여러 양질의 프로그램을 제공한다. 영유아들을 위한 북스타트 프로그램, 엄마들을 위한 뜨개질 강좌, 노년층을 위한 SNS 활용 강좌 등이 있다.
I participate in two book clubs for office workers. In one of them, everyone reads the same book and gather over Zoom at the end of the month to exchange thoughts about it. In the book club, we write down memorable passages from a book we select together, and share them on an online message board. At the end of the month, we have a get-together to discuss how we felt about the book.
나는 직장인들을 위한 두 개의 독서 모임에 참여하고 있다. 하나는 모두가 동일한 책을 읽고 월말에 Zoom으로 만나서 책에 관한 생각을 나누는 모임이다. 다른 하나는 함께 고른 책에서 인상적인 문구들을 필사하여 온라인 카페에 공유하는 모임이다. 월말에는 책에 관해서 느낀 점을 같이 이야기하는 모임도 갖는다.
The best part about the book club is that they motivate me to keep reading. It's also a lot of fun to hear different points of view through other people's takes on each book.
