How I Came to Marry My wife.
내 아내와 결혼하게 된 과정.
It was about six years ago when "she" was assigned to our company. We were the same age. A chance encounter with her in the hallway changed everything. Unlike her usual cold and aloof demeanor, she smiled shyly as she said hello. That's when I started to develop feelings for her.
대략 6년 전에 우리 회사로 "그녀"가 파견을 왔다. 우리는 동갑내기였다. 어느 날 복도에서의 우연한 만남으로 모든 게 바뀌었다. 평소의 "차도녀" 이미지와 달리 그녀는 수줍게 웃으면서 인사를 건넸다. 그때부터 나는 그녀에게 호감이 생기기 시작했다.
I learned that she always drank coffee at lunchtime. So I bought a pour over coffee set at a cafe near the office, and learned how to brew coffee from my boss. Opportunity struck sooner than I had expected. I had learned in such a gurry that I wasn't very good at it yet, but she enjoyed the coffee I made by hand just for her.
그녀가 점심시간에 항상 커피를 마신다는 것을 알게 되었다. 그래서 회사 인근 카페에서 드립 커피 세트를 구입했고 사장님께 커피 내리는 방법도 배웠다. 기회는 생각보다 일찍 찾아왔다. 급하게 배운 터라 커피 내리는 것이 아직 어설펐지만, 그녀는 내가 자기를 위해 직접 내린 커피를 맛있게 마셔 줬다.
We started seeing each other in secret that day. After dating for a year and a half, we tied the knot. And last year, we had a beautiful baby girl who takes after both of us. We have both gone on childcare leave, and we are having the time of ouir lives our daughter.
