The Beautiful Sounds of the Flute.
The flute is second only to English among my interests these days. Quite a while ago at talent show, I happened to see someone play "My Heart Will Go On," the theme from the movie "Titanic," on the flute. I was completely taken in. So, I started flute lessons at the community culture center. It's been almost 10 years now.
Many people think that learning to play the flute is no big deal, like a pipe. But these people are badly mistaken. The sounds of the flute rely entirely on the player's mouth and breath. You can't even make a sound without loads of practice.
I can't play it perfectly yet, but I am active in a flute ensemble. I sometimes get all dressed up in a dress and perform regularly in concerts. Someday, I hope to be able to perform impromptu on the streets while traveling in Europe. As I look forward to that, I continue to practice today.
플룻의 아름다운 소리.
요즘에 저는 영어 다음으로 플룻에 푹 빠져 있습니다. 꽤 오래전에 한 장기 자랑에서, 어느 분이 영화 "타이타닉"의 주제곡 "My Heart Will Go On"을 플룻으로 연주하는 것을 보고, 완전히 매료되었습니다. 그래서 동네 문화 센터에서 플룻 수업을 듣기 시작했습니다. 이제 거의 10년이 다 되어 가네요.
많은 사람들이 플룻이 피리처럼 배우기 쉬운 악기라고 생각하지만, 그건 완전히 큰 오산이에요. 플룻은 온전히 연주자의 입과 호흡으로 소리를 내야 하므로, 여간 연습하지 않고는 소리조차 낼 수 없어요.
저는 아직까지 플룻을 완벽하게 연주하지는 못하지만 플룻 합주단에서 활동하고 있습니다. 멋진 드레스를 차려입고 정기 연주회에서 연주를 할 때도 있어요. 언젠가는 유럽 여행 중에 거리에서 즉흥 연주도 할 수 있기를 바랍니다. 그 때를 기대하며 저는 오늘도 연습을 계속하고 있습니다.
