A Pleasant Experience at the Library.
I used to frequent the library when I was a student. My friends and I would do test prep at the local library during middle and high school. I also remember sharing delicious snacks at the canteen.
In college, I sometimes studied from the carck of dawn when the campus library opened until late at night. I also took out books from the wide selection they had sometimes, I had my nose stuck in a book so deeply that I lost track of the time. Reading and studying all day gave me a sense of accomplishment.
These days, I open visit local library with my eight-year-old son. They have a separate reading room just for kids, so my son and I select the books we want to read and go there. We borrow some books and bring them home if my son wants to spend more time with them. I hope that my son will develop fond memories of books and the library, just like I did.
도서관에서의 즐거운 경험.
나는 학생일 때 도서관을 자주 찾곤 했다. 중고등학교 때는 친구들과 집 근처 도서관에서 시험 공부도 하고, 매점에서 맛있는 간식도 함께 먹었던 추억이 있다.
대학교에 들어가서는, 학교 도서관이 문을 여는 새벽부터 밤늦게까지 공부하기도 하고, 도서관에 있는 다양한 책들을 빌리기도 했다. 시간 가는 줄 모르고 책에 심취해 읽었던 때도 있었다. 하루 종일 책을 읽고 공부를 하다 보면 뿌듯한 성취감마저 들었다.
요즘에는 여덟 살 된 나의 아들과 동네 도서관에 자주 간다. 도서관에는 어린이 전용 열람실이 따로 있어서 아이와 함께 읽고 싶은 책을 골라 그곳으로 간다. 아이가 책을 더 읽고 싶어 하면 대여해 집으로 가져 온다. 내가 그랬던 것처럼 아이가 책과 함께 도서관에 대한 좋은 추억을 많이 만들었으면 좋겠다.
