Learning to drive.
I got my driver's license when I had some free time before starting college. But for ten years, I rarely had occasion to drive. My license fell into disuse.
My husband sits in the passenger seat and helps on the occasional short trip. But his constant nagging about my mistakes was too much to bear. I started to avoid driving.
My husband and I were an office couple until recently. We communted together, so I rarely had to drive. But he has a heavier workload since he changed jobs. It often fell to me to pick up the kids in our car.
Thankfully, I haven't gotten into any accidents while the car was in motion. But I did get some dents and dings on the car while parking. I never thought that I would miss having my husband nitpick about my driving.
운전 배우기.
저는 대학 입학 전에 시간적 여우가 있어서 운전면허증을 땄습니다. 그런데 10년 동안 운전할 일이 거의 없어서, 장롱면허가 되었습니다.
가끔 단거리 운전을 하는 경우 남편이 조수석에 앉아서 도움을 줍니다. 그러나 내가 잘못한 부분에 대해 끊임없이 잔소리를 해서 너무 견디기 힘들었습니다. 저는 운전을 점점 피하게 되었습니다.
최근까지 남편과 저는 사내 커플이었습니다. 우리는 같이 출퇴근해서 제가 운전할 일이 거의 없었습니다. 그러나 남편이 이직을 한 이후 업무량이 많아짐에 따라, 제가 아이들을 차로 픽업해야 하는 일이 자주 생겼습니다.
다행히 지금까지 주행 중에 사고는 없었습니다. 그러나 주차를 하면서 차량에 작은 흠집이 생긴 경우는 있었습니다. 저는 남편이 제 운전에 대해 잔소히하는 것을 그리워하게 될 줄은 전혀 몰랐습니다.
