Egg dishes are among the staple foods we often see on our tables. But when we do eat eggs, it's worth thinking about the farming condidions of the hens that lay them. Most chickens are kept in narrow cages with no room to move about. All they can do is eat and excrete waste.
Countless hens live their whole lives without ever getting some sun or stepping on the ground. This makes them susceptible to illness, so they are pumped full of antibiotics. These inhumane conditions lead to high stress levels. Surely, it can't be good for us when we eat those eggs.
That's why I order and consume humane eggs. The chickens are free to run about and get plenty of fresh air. They also eat healthy food. As a result, you can definitely taste the difference with humnae eggs.
동물 복지 달걀에 대해 말해 주세요.
우리의 식탁에서 흔하게 볼 수 있는 주요 음식 중 하나가 달걀 요리이다. 그런데 우리가 달걀을 먹을때, 이 달걀을 낳는 닭의 사육환경에 대해 생각해 볼 필요가 있다. 대부분 닭들은 제대로 움직이지 못하는 좁은 우리에 갇혀, 오로지 먹고 배설하는 일만 할 수 있다.
