A bucket list is a list of things someone wants to do before kicking the bucket. The term came into widespread use after a movie with that title was released. The movie is about two elderly men who are diagnosed with terminal cancer. They write a wish list and travel together.
Many people have their own bucket list. For example, they want to learn an instrument, travel alone, learn a foreign language, or successfully go on a diet.
By making your own bucket list, you can learn more about yourself as well. By checking off items one by one, your satisfaction with life can increase. I, too, have a bucket list of my own. I am determined to do everything on the list someday.

버킷 리스트는 죽기 전에 해 보고 싶은 일들의 목록을 말한다. '버킷 리스트'라는 제목의 영화가 개봉한 이후로 널리 사용되는 용어가 되었다. 그 영화는 말기 암 판정을 받은 두 노인이 소원 목록을 작성하여 함께 여행을 떠나는 내용이다.
많은 사람들은 자신만의 버킷 리스트를 가지고 있다. 예를 들면, 악기 하나 다루기, 혼자 여행 떠나기, 외국어 배우기, 다이어트에 성공하기 등이다.
자신만의 버킷 리스트를 만들어 보면, 자신에 대해서도 더욱 잘 알 수 있다. 그리고 목표를 하나씩 이루면서 삶에 대한 만족도가 높아질 수 있다. 나도 나만의 버킷 리스트가 있다. 언젠가는 그 리스트에 있는 것들을 모두 해 보겠다고 마음 먹고 있다.
