[Response]

The general consensus is that Korea was very effective in preventing the spread of the coronavirus. It became a model example when it comes to containing the virus.
After the first confirmed case, Korean health authorities were quick to begin producing testing kits with private companies. They conducted widespread testing of suspected patients. Over a hundred testing stations were set up all across the country. Drive-thru and walk-thru stations sped up the testing process. Confirmed patients were discovered through such active testing. By placing them in quarantine, massive community infections were avoided.
Plus, the Korean government was very proactive and transparent in the overall process. Citizens were compelled to wear masks from the get-go. Strong social distancing measures were also put in place.

한국이 코로나바이러스의 확산 방지에 매우 효과적인 대응을 했다는 것은 일반적인 견해이다. 바이러스 확산의 억제 면에서 모범 사례가 되었다.
