When I draw up plans to travel overseas, I think about the destination first. I first consider places that my friends highly recommend. I also search online. After I settle on a destination, I consider lodgings, transportation, and food. I look for a comfortable place to stay at reasonable price. I also consider the proximity to nearby tourist attractions. I also think about how to get around. Finally, I make a list of restaurants worth visiting, to get a taste of the local cuisine.

Every year, I vacation overseas with my family. Last time, we wanted to take a break and relax, so we chose a vacation package to stay at a resort. Using a travel agency, we looked for a travel package with lots of free time and almost no sightseeing. It was peak season and the prices were on the steep side, but there was nothing for it. The resort hotel was just to our liking. The pool was beautiful, so we spent a lot of time lazing about there. We also ordered room service and ate the food in our room with wine.
