High School English Studies.
I am an English teacher with 20 years of experience. For 15 of thoes years, I taught high shcool English. Many students get discouraged after their first high school test, despite having really hit the books like they did in middle school.
To get high scores on high school English tests, it's important to understand that studying English is like building a house. "English sentence structure" are like the basic framwork of a house. The importance of learning them can't be overstated.
To quickly read longer passages than they saw in middle shcool and identify the topic sentence, students to do alot of reading. I recommend starting out with beginner-level reading comprehension workbooks. After that, students can try to up their leve with English novels or newspapers. I also strongly recommend the "입트영" textbooks for 1st year high school students, and the "귀트영" textbooks for 2nd years.
고등학교 영어 공부 방법.
저는 20년 차 영어 교사입니다. 그중 15년 동안은 고등학교에서 영어를 가르쳤습니다. 많은 학생들이 중학교 때처럼 열심히 공부를 했음에도 불구하고, 고등학교 첫 시험을 보고 나서 좌절합니다.
고등학교 영어 시험에서 좋은 성적을 받기 위해서는 영어 공부가 집 짓기와 같다는 것을 이해하는 것이 중요합니다. "영어 문장 구조"는 집의 기본 뼈대와도 같은데, 그것을 익히는 것의 중요성은 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않습니다.
중학교 때 봤던 것보다 길어진 지문을 빠르게 읽고 중심 문장을 찾아내기 위해서는 학생들이 많은 양의 글을 읽어야 합니다. 저는 난이도가 낮은 독해 문제집부터 시작해 보기를 추천합니다. 그러고 나서 학생들은 수준을 높여 영어 소설과 영자 신문에 도전해 볼 수 있습니다. 또한 고등학교 1학년에게는 "입트영" 교재를, 2학년에게는 "귀트영" 교재를 강력히 추전합니다.
