Level 3. 입트영.
How I study with "입트영".
I started studying "입트영" in March, 2021. When I first got started, I just tuned in to the broadcast, memorized the vocab words, and composed the practice sentences. It did help me study, but it always felt like something was missing. Then, 2 months later, I learned about recitation as a study technique.
Before I listen to the program, I recite and record the Speech Practice section. Then, after listening to the show and studying, I have another go at reciting and recording the same passage. 20 minutes after I have fully absorbed the expressions, I can check how my English has improved. It really gives me a sense of accomplishment.
This "입트영" recitation routine of mine has been invaluable to me. To my fellow listeners who aren't reciting what they study, I can confidently say that they sould try it.
나의 "입트영" 공부법.
나는 2021년 3월부터 "입트영"을 공부하기 시작했다. 처음 시작했을 때는 "입트영" 방송을 듣고, 단어들을 외우고, 연습 문장들을 영작하는 것만 했다. 공부에 도움이 되긴 했지만, 왠지 항상 뭔가 부족한 느낌이었다. 그러다가 2개월 후에 "낭독"이라는 공부 방법을 알게 되었다.
나는 방송을 듣기 전에 Speech Practice 부분을 낭독해서 녹음을 해 본다. 그 다음에 방송을 듣고 공부를 하고 나서, 다시 한번 본문을 낭독하면서 녹음을 한다. 표현 이해가 충분히 된 20분 후에, 내 영어 실력이 어떻게 향상됐는지 확인할 수 있고, 이를 통해 큰 성취감을 느끼기도 한다.
이러한 "입트영" 낭독 루틴은 나에게 정말 큰 도움이 되고 있다. 낭독을 하고 있지 않은 동료 청취자분들에게 나는 낭독을 해 보라고 자신 있게 말할 수 있다.
