Men Who Bake.
A few years ago, my husband announced that he wanted to try his hand at baking. I knew that he likes to stock up on equipment before starting anything, so I tried to talk him out of it at first.
But my husband had his way and bought baking tools like various molds and ingredients such as baking soda and chocolate. And so, he started baking.
He started out with muffins and cookies. These days, he bakes simple cakes every weekend. He starts by kneading dough, and soon our house is filled with the aromas of bread baking. I was surprised by how he has taken to it so passionately. I cheer him on, buying him the ingredients he says he needs.
But we always end up with too much whenever he bakes. So, any leftover bread or cookies become a snack that our child can share with friends at the playground.
베이킹하는 남자.
몇 년 전에 남편이 베이킹을 해 보고 싶다고 했습니다. 무엇이든 시작하기 전에 장비부터 구비하는 남편을 잘 아는 터라 처음에는 말리려고 했습니다.
하지만 남편은 기어이 자기 뜻대로 여러 가지 틀의 베이킹 도구, 베이킹 소다와 초콜릿 등의 재료를 사고 결국 베이킹을 시작했습니다.
머핀과 쿠키를 시작으로, 요즘은 간단한 케이크를 주말마다 굽고 있습니다. 반죽을 개는 것부터 시작하여 금세 집 안에 빵 굽는 냄새가 진동을 합니다. 생각보다 무척 열정적으로 하는 모습에 놀랐습니다. 저는 남편이 필요하다는 재료를 사 주며 응원하고 있습니다.
그런데 베이킹을 할 때마다 나오는 양이 늘 제법 많습니다. 그래서 남은 빵이나 쿠키는 아이가 놀이터에 가서 친구들과 나눠 먹는 간식이 됩니다.
