Different Personalities Between Spouses.
My husband and I are polar opposites when is comes to our personalities. We often get into disagreements because of our different personalities. We have been in countless arguments because of our differing lifestyles.
Unlike my husband, who values his work-life balance, I am a bit of woraholic. My husband likes to travel on weekends, or take it easy in the living room, listening to music or watching TV. But I sit at the computer and focus on my work or self-improvement. So, even when we are at home together on weekends, we each occupy different spaces.
We respect each other's preferences, but we know that this is not the best lifesyle for a married couple. After many arguments, we reached an agreement to at least find a shared hobby. We hope to find grater happiness as a couple.
배우자와 성격 차이.
남편과 나는 성격 면에서 달라도 너무 다르다. 성격 차이로 인한 의견 대립이 자주 있고, 서로 다른 생활 방식으로 인해서 우리는 정말 숱하게 싸웠다.
워라밸을 중시하는 남편과 달리, 나는 다소 일 중독이다. 남편은 주말에 여행을 다니거나 거실에서 음악을 듣고 TV를 보며 여유롭게 보내는 것을 좋아한다. 반면, 나는 컴퓨터 앞에서 앉아서 업무나 자기 계발과 관련된 일들에 몰두한다. 그래서 우리는 주말에 함께 집에 있어도 각자의 공간에서 지내기 일쑤다.
우리는 서로의 성향을 존중하지만, 결혼한 부부에게 이러한 생활 방식은 바람직하지 않다는 것도 알고 있다. 많은 다툼 끝에 최소한의 취미 생활을 함께하는 것에는 동의했다. 우리는 부부가 서로 함께하는 기쁨을 찾았으면 좋겠다.
