Amphibious Buses.
Our family recently went on an outing to Buyeo. While we were there, we came across amphibious buses for the first time. Amphibious buses are buses that can operate on both land and water. Because it is a boat in addition to being a bus, we had to fill out a form, a boarding registration.
Once we got on board, an attendant walked us through the safety rules, how to use the life jackets, and the important characteristics of the bus. The driver must have a bus driver's license, a boating license, and first aid certification to be qualified to operate the amphibious bus. It can travel at speeds of up to 18km/h on water, and 70km/h on land.
Here in Korea, amphibious buses are operated solely in Buyeo. Overseas, you can find them in Boston and singapore. Going for a ride on the bus became a special memory for our family.
수륙 양용 버스.
우리 가족은 최근에 부여로 나들이를 다녀왔다. 그곳에 있는 동안 "수륙 양용 버스"를 처음 접하게 되었다. 수륙 양용 버스는 물과 땅 위에서 모두 다닐 수 있는 버스를 말한다. 버스이면서 선박이기도 해서 우리는 승선 신고서를 작성해야 했다.
탑승을 하자, 승무원이 안전 수칙, 구명조끼 사용법, 버스의 주요 특징 등을 알기 쉽게 설명해 주었다. 운전자는 수륙 양용 버스를 운행할 자격을 갖추려면 대형 버스 면허증, 선박 조종사 면허증, 응급 처지 자격증이 있어야 한다. 버스는 물에서는 최대 18km/h, 땅에서는 최대 70km/h의 속도로 달릴 수 있다.
우리나라에서 수륙 양용 버스는 부여에서만 운영되고 있고, 해외에서는 보스턴과 싱가포르에서 찾아볼 수 있다고 한다. 이 버스를 탄 경험은 우리 가족에게 특별한 추억이 되었다.
