Talk about commuting on a bicycle.
In the past, I drove to work or took the company's commuter bus. But when the weather got milder in the spring, I decided to commute by bike.
Before I set off, I prepare safety equipment like my helmet, gloves, goggles, and first aid kit. If at all possible, I try to stay in bicycle lanes. When I do have to share the road with cars, I do my best to obey traffic lights and stay safe.
I take a riverside bicycle trail on my way to work, enjoying the crips morning air. Taking in the view helps me start the day in a good mood. I watch the sun going down or the stars in the night sky on my way back home. It's a chance to reflect on the day and to make resolutions.
전에는 회사 출근 시 자차를 이용하거나 회사 통근 버스를 탔습니다. 하지만 봄에 날씨가 따뜻해지자, 자전거로 출퇴근하기로 마음 먹었습니다.
출발하기 전에 헬멧, 장갑, 고글, 구급 의약품 같은 안전 장비를 준비합니다. 저는 가급적이면 자전거 전용도로를 이용하려고 합니다. 차들과 도로를 함께 써야 하는 경우에는 교통 신호를 지키며 안전하게 타려고 노력합니다.
