Talk about parcel deliveries and overseas shipping.

During the COVID era, I started to order minor goods online. That meant I received delivery of parcels more often. I received so many parcels that I now know what time each parcel delivery service arrives at my house. So whenever that time, I am filled with anticipation.

Sometimes, products I order are delivered from overseas. International shipping does take a while longer than domestic oreders. It's also a bit of hassle cause you need a personal customs clearance code. Sometimes, you also need to use a third party shipping service. For these reasons, it's a big decision when I order from overseas.

As more and more people use parcel delivery services, sometimes delivery is delayed. But I feel greatful for the system and how it enables me to quickly and conveniently receive items I want.

코로나 시대를 겪으면서, 나는 사소한 용품도 온라인으로 주문하기 시작했다. 그에 따라 택배를 받는 빈도도 늘어났다. 택배를 받는 일이 많다 보니, 이제는 각 택배 회사가 우리 집에 몇 시에 오는지도 알게 되었다. 그래서 택배 도착 시간이 다가오면, 늘 마음이 설렌다.

종종 주문한 제품이 해외에서 오는 경우도 있다. 해외 배송은 국내 주문보다는 아무래도 시간이 더 오래 걸린다. 또한 개인통관번호가 필요하기 때문에 다소 번거롭기도 하다. 가끔 배송대행서비스를 이용해야 하는 경우도 있다. 이러한 이유로, 해외 배송은 큰 맘 먹고 주문을 하게 된다.

택배 서비스를 이용하는 사람들이 점점 많아지면서 배송이 지연되는 경우도 있다. 하지만 내가 원하는 물건을 빠르고 편리하게 받아 볼 수 있는 택배 시스템이 있어서 너무 감사하다.
