Talk about jigsaw puzzles.
I am really into jigsaw puzzles these days. Piecing together the puzzles is simple. You start by completing the border and grouping the pieces by color. Then, you refer to the full image to find matching pieces. You put them together in pieces, and finally combine them all together to complete the puzzle.
There are various images, including famous works of art, landscapes, and scenes from animated films. I can even have one made to order, using a picture I choose myself. The process of analyzing the characteristics of the puzzle pieces is said to be effective at staving off dementia.
Once you finish a puzzle, it's possible to have it framed. But I usually put them together several times, since it would be a shame to complete them just once. I started out with 150 piece puzzles, and now I am up to 1000 piece puzzles. Later on, I plan to have a go at 2000 and even 3000 piece puzzles.
나는 요즘 직소 퍼즐에 푹 빠져있다. 퍼즐 조각을 맞추는 법은 간단하다. 먼저 테두리를 다 맞추고 조각을 색깔별로 분류한다. 그러고 나서 전체 그림을 참고하여 일치하는 조각을 찾는다. 부분적으로 조각을 맞춘 후에 마지막으로 한데 모아 퍼즐을 완성하다.
명화, 풍경, 애니메이션 장면 등 다양한 그림이 있다. 내가 직접 고른 사진으로 주문 제작을 할 수도 있다. 퍼즐 조각의 특징을 분석하여 찾는 과정은 치매 예방에도 효과적이라고 한다.
퍼즐을 완성하면 액자에 보관할 수도 있다. 하지만 한 번만 하고 끝내기에는 아쉬울 것 같아서 나는 보통 여러 번 맞추기도 한다. 나는 150피스 퍼즐부터 시작하여 지금은 1,000피스 퍼즐까지 하는 중이다. 나중에는 2,000피스와 3,000피스 퍼즐에 도전해 볼 생각이다.
