Talk about requesting topics to be covered on "입트영."
The study texts for "입트영" are comprised of topics that are requested by the listeners. Like everyone else, I wanted to write in with something I wrote. But I never even gave it a try. After all, I thought that I had to write in English to submit a request.
But I recently learned from members of my "입트영" study group that listeners request topics in Korean. They told me of the sense of pride they feel when their topic is selected. Right away, I visited the website and went over the process for posting with a fine-tooth comb. I found out that it's no biggie after all.
If any listener wants to send in a topic but is hanging back like I did, I urge them to just go for it and give it a shot.
"입트영" 본문은 청취자들의 신청 주제로 구성되어 있습니다. 저도 다른 사람들처럼 제가 쓴 글을 보내고 싶었습니다. 하지만 단 한 번도 시도해 본 적이 없습니다. 왜냐하면 영어로 작문하여 신청해야 하는 줄 알았기 때문입니다.
하지만 최근에 "입트영" 스터디 모임 멤버들로부터 청취자들이 주제 신청을 한글로 한다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 그리고 주제가 선정되면 정말 뿌듯하다는 이야기를 들었습니다. 저는 곧바로 웹 사이트에 방문하여 글을 올리는 방법을 꼼꼼하게 읽어 봤습니다. 결국 그렇게 어려운 일이 아니라는 것을 알게 되었습니다.
혹시 청취자 중 누군가 주제를 신청하고 싶지만 저 처럼 망설이고 계신 분이 있다면, 주저 말고 도전해 보라고 권하고 싶습니다.
