Talk about used bookstores.
Times change, but books never lose their value. That's why I always make it a point to visit the bookstore alley in Busan whenever I visit the city. When I step inside a used bookstore, I examine each book as if I were on a treasure hunt. I am tickled pink when I find a title I like in the many stacks of books.
You can buy various books for a song at used bookstores. One of the biggest advantages is that you can even buy books that are out of print.
You can also buy used books at corporate used bookstores these days. And it's a breeze now to simply buy and sell books online. The used bookstore alley may become a thing of the past as a result, but I hope that the stores will continue to stick around.
시대가 변해도 책은 그 가치를 잃지 않는다. 그래서 나는 부산을 갈 때마다 책방 골목을 빼놓지 않고 꼭 방문한다. 헌책방에 들어가면, 보물찾기를 하는 것처럼 책을 하나하나 살펴본다. 켜켜이 쌓여 있는 책들 중에서 내가 좋아하는 책을 찾을 때 큰 기쁨을 느낀다.
헌책방에서는 다양한 종류의 책을 저렴한 가격에 살 수 있다. 심지어 절판된 책도 구매할 수 있다는 것이 큰 장점 중 하나이다.
요즘은 기업형 중고 서점에서도 중고책을 구매할 수 있다. 또한 온라인으로도 간편하게 중고책을 사고 팔 수 있다. 이에 따라 헌책방 골목은 없어질 위기에 처했지만, 나는 헌책방들이 계속해서 유지되었으면 좋겠다.
