Level 3. 입트영.
Changes caused by "입트영".
Each of the three members of our "입트영" study group is an ordinary homemaker raising two kids. We studied English separately, each in our own way, until we decided to form a group through "입트영" on New Year's Day, 2021. We still practice speaking English via videoconference at 10 o'clock each morning. Just doing that is more than enough to make us feel overwhelmed with joy.
The stories introduced on "입트영" started to awake the sense of adventure that was lying dormant inside each of us. One of our members declared out of the blue that she wanted to show her kids how their mom could take on a challenge. She quickly became certified as Excel expert, and is now having a go at an accounting certificate. Another member started taking piano lessons. As for myself, I took my kids to live in Jeju for 15 days last August. I am currently planning a day trip to hike up Hallassan Mountain.
All of these changes were brought on by the stimulus of studying with "입트영".
우리 "입트영" 스터디 모임의 멤버 3명은 두 아이를 키우고 있는 평범한 주부들이다. 각자만의 방법으로 영어 공부를 하다가, 2021년 1월 1일에 "입트영"으로 모임을 구성하기로 했다. 아직까지도 매일 아침 10시에 화상으로 영어 말하기 연습을 하고 있다. 그것만으로도 우리는 밀려오는 행복감을 주체할 수 없다.
"입트영"에 소개되는 사연들이 우리 각자의 내면에 잠재되어 있던 도전 의식을 깨우기 시작했다. 멤버 중 한 명이 느닷없이 아이들에게 도전하는 엄마의 모습을 보여 주고 싶다고 했다. 그리고는 단숨에 엑셀 자격증을 따더니, 지금은 회계 관련 자격증에 도전하고 있다. 또 다른 멤버는 피아노 레슨을 받기 시작했다. 나는 작년 8월에 아이들과 15일간 제주살이를 했고, 지금은 한라산 당일치기 등반을 계획하고 있다.
이 모든 것들이 "입트영"을 공부하다가 자극을 받고 생긴 변화들이었다.
