Traveling virtually from home.
Before the COVID-19 crisis, I traveled overseas at least twice yearly. After traveling that way for many years, overseas travel came to an abrupt stop because of the coronavirus. Searching online for plane tickets and planning trips to new destinations were part of my daily routine, but I couldn't do that anymore.
To satisfy my thirst for traveling, I started watching travel-ralated content online. I looked up places I had visited before to bring up memories of past trips. I also got a taste of travel destinations I wanted to visit by looking them up in advance.
The reality is that I can't travel in real life these days. But by subscribing to various travel-related channels and watching the uploaded videos, I can still have some fun at home through vritual trips.

나는 코로나19 이전에는 1년에 적어도 두 번은 해외여행을 갔다. 그렇게 여러해 동안 여행을 다니다가 코로나바이러스 때문에 갑작스럽게 해외여행을 중단했다. 온라인으로 비행기 티켓을 검색하고 새로운 여행지를 찾아 여행 계획을 세우는 것이 나의 일상이었는데, 더 이상 할 수 없게 되었다.
나는 여행에 대한 갈증을 해소하기 위해 온라인에서 여행 관련 콘텐츠를 보기 시작했다. 내가 전에 가 봤던 곳을 찾아보며 지난 여행의 추억을 떠올리기도 했다. 그리고 가고 싶은 여행지를 미리 찾아보면서 여행지를 살짝 맛보기도 했다.
요즘은 직접 여행을 떠나지 못하는 것이 현실이지만, 다양한 여행 관련 채널을 구독하고 업로드 되는 영상을 보면서, "랜선 여행"을 통해 집에서 나름의 재미를 느낄 수 있다.
