What do you usually do at year's end? When I see donation kettles as I walk through the streets, it reminds me that the year is coming to an end. It brings to mind various events like Christmas and year-end parties.
I'm not sure when it started, but I've begun to look forward to spending time with my family at year's end. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Before the coronavirus, we always had a family get-together at the end of the year. We gathered together to watch the New Year's bell ringing ceremony and bid each other a happy new year.
It's become harder for us to spend time together since the coronavirus outbreak. Even so, we ask after each through video calls to wind down the year. This brings us closer together as a family. That's why I always think of family at the end of the year.
