World Expos are one of the top three megaevents in the world, along with the olympics and the World Cup.
The Dubai world Expo takes place for six months from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 in Dubai, UAE. It was originally slated for 2020, but it was pushed back a year because of COVID-19.
This time around, it will feature a hybrid format incorporating both on and offline channels because of disease prevention measures. 192 countries from all over the world will participate in the Expo. Each participant will create a country pavilion to hype up their country. Korea will also operate a Korea pavilion to bang the drum for our country.
The exhibition theme for the Korea pavilion is "Smart Korea, Moving the World to You." It is said to contain Korea's determination to lead humankind to a better tomorrow.

2021년 10월 1일부터 2022년 3월 31일까지 6개월간 두바이 세계 박람회가 아랍에미리트(UAE), 두바이에서 열립니다. 원래는 2020년에 개최 예정이었으나 코로나19로 1년이 연기되었습니다.
이번에는 방역상의 이유로 온.오프라인을 병행하는 하이브리드 방식으로 선보인다고 합니다. 이번 엑스포는 전 세계 192개국이 참가하며, 참가국마다 국가관을 만들어 자국을 홍보할 예정입니다. 우리나라 또한 한국관을 운영하여 한국을 알릴 것입니다.
한국관의 전시 주제는 "스마트 코리아, 한국이 선사하는 무한한 세상(Smart Korea, Moving the World to You)"입니다. 한국이 인류를 더 나은 미래로 이끌어 가겠다는 의지를 담고 있다고 합니다.
