노랭 : 예전에는 어려운 운동을 많이 했었죠. 근데, 지금은 가벼운 운동들을 규칙적으로 해야겠더라고요.
라임: 사실, 저는 젊었을때 어떤 운동도 좋아하지 않았어요. 노랭이 저를 더 많이 걷고 움직이게 하는 거예요.
노랭: 그렇다니 기쁘네요.
라임: 말이 나온 김에, 강아지를 데리고 산책이나 가죠. 마스크 챙기시고요.

노랭: I used to do a lot of difficult exercises. But now, I feel like I have to do lighter ones regulary.
라임: Actually, I didn't really like any type of exercise when I was young. You're making me walk and move more.

Trot is a genre of Korean popular music. Originally, it was in favor with older generations. But recently, it is gaining traction among all generations. The recnt trot craze got off the ground with a trot talent show program on TV a year ago. Now, most major TV stations seem to have a similar trot talent show.

The key to trot's sucess is that it gives voice to Korean people's emotions and sentiment. The mood if traditional trot and the vocal techniques of the singers speak to the public. Nowadays, various performance emements are also added to the mix. Trot songs are just the thing to lift the modd at various celevrations or gatherings. 트로트는 한국 대중가요의 한 장르이다. 원래는 나이가 있는 연령층에서 인기가 있던 음악이다. 그러나 최근에 전 세대를 아울러 인기몰이를 하고 있다. 최근의 트로트 열풍은 일년 전 한 TV 방송사의 트로트 경연 프로그램에서 시작되었다. 지금은 웬만한 주요 방송사들에도 비슷한 트로트 경연 프로그램이 하나씩은 다 있는 것 같다.
